Take a tour of some of the properties I've photographed recently -

The Green Door

Listing Agent: Debra McCord – Royal LePage, Brockville

One of the best things about what I do is when I get to photograph a property that is unique.  The Green Door is a Bed and Breakfast in Brockville that is in a building that used to be a church.  You can imagine, the architecture is rather grand and the current owners have done a beautiful job of turning this historic building into what it is today.

47 Rochester Street

Kitchen

Listing Agent: Andrew Rivington, Coldwell Banker Settlement Realty, Perth

There’s a fine line when it comes to Real Estate Photography, between too much and too little – it’s good to declutter but if you go too far a home just looks sterile.  On the other hand if there are too many things to distract the eye viewers are less likely to really ‘see’ the rooms.  This beautiful home had everything done just right, it looked beautiful and was a pleasure to photograph.  This property sold in just two days!

1385 Merkley

Living Room

Listing Agents: Antonella  Holmes & Sina Fattizzo, Royal LePage Team Realty, Kemptville

Each home presents it’s own challenges as far as photography is concerned.  This one’s high wooden ceiling was beautiful but also called for me to use different techniques than I normally would to light a living room.  This was another home where the beautiful secluded garden was always in view because of all the large windows.

Exterior Front

Listing Agent: Jacalyn Grimes, ReMax Affiliates Realty, Smiths Falls

Smiths Falls has many stately older  brick  homes, remnants of the successful railway industry that used to flourish there.  This one is keeping it’s grandeur with tasteful decor that made it a gem to photograph.

133 Tumbledown Road

Exterior Back

Listing Agent: Debra McCord, Royal LePage Alliance Realty – Brockville

The setting of this home is what attracted me – nestled privately in beautiful woodland with a wonderful outdoor space called ‘The Ledge’ that is a high point over a ravine below.  The little cabin would be perfect for watching animals and birds come and go, a place to sit and think or to get creative.  The great room inside the home has soaring wood ceilings and walls of windows that really bring the outside in, I can imagine how breathtaking it must be to watch the season’s change from any of the many areas that have been created within this room.

50 Bennett Street

Exterior Front

Listing Agent: Carol Healy, Royal LePage Pro Alliance Realty, Brockville

Cute and Cozy, this beautiful little home had lots of charm.  There’s something about Boyd block homes, a quality to their build and also their design and layout and this one was no exception.  Not a large home and yet the living area had a spacious feel to it, the staircase a certain air of history and beauty.  One of the things I enjoy most about real estate photography are the opportunities I have for being in homes like this.

Mill Street

Porch

Listing Agent: Francine Menard – Royal LePage Team Realty Brokerage, Kemptville

Sometimes all it takes is an update to photos rather than a full reshoot – this is probably my favourite property in Merrickville.  The huge porch invites me to sit and relax to watch the world go by and the historic guest rooms make me feel as though I’ve slipped back in time.

469 Bolton

Listing Agent: Liz Wardhaugh, Royal LePage Team Realty – Kemptville

This was a one in a million!!  I have to say it’s the most unique home I’ve had the privilege of photographing, I completely fell in love with it, house and grounds.  Needless to say it wasn’t on the market long before it sold.
